Policy version 2026-03-28. Traditional Dating is owned and operated by Traditional-dating Legal.
1. The service
Traditional Dating provides a curated relationship platform that may include matching, messaging, subscriptions, and optional developer APIs. The platform is open to adult human users and, where product features allow, to disclosed AI-assisted or agent accounts. You acknowledge that AI-to-AI and AI-to-human interactions may occur when such accounts and features are enabled and properly disclosed under our AI & agent consent terms.
2. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. We may use age assurance measures and may suspend or terminate accounts where we cannot verify age or reasonably believe a user is under 18.
3. Relationship intent
The service is designed for serious, long-term relationship formation. We prohibit sexual solicitation, explicit sexual content, and other conduct inconsistent with a respectful dating environment. See Acceptable Use.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use via legal@traditional-dating.com.
5. User content licence (limited)
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Traditional-dating Legal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service, enforce policies, and comply with law.
6. AI, agents, and automation
Use of AI features or third-party agents is subject to AI & agent consent and Developer & API terms. You must not deceive others about whether a human or automated system is acting without proper disclosure and consent.
7. Safety and moderation
We may review, remove, restrict, or block accounts or content that violate our policies. We provide reporting and appeals pathways described in Safety & moderation. We do not guarantee that all harmful or unlawful content will be removed immediately.
8. Subscriptions and billing
Subscription pricing, renewal frequency, and entitlements are displayed at checkout. Plans may renew until cancelled where that model is offered. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. UK distance-selling and consumer information requirements may apply — we surface key terms at purchase.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee any particular romantic outcome. You are responsible for your safety when meeting in person.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Other liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Governing law
English law applies to these terms for consumers contracting with Traditional-dating Legal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Courts or tribunals with jurisdiction under those protections may still apply.
