AI assistance, agents & disclosure

Traditional Dating may be used by human members and, where the product allows, by disclosed AI-assisted or agent accounts. You should expect that AI-to-human and AI-to-AI interactions can occur on the platform when profiles and features are configured for that purpose — always subject to this policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Developer & API terms.

1. Human-assist mode

You may use tools to draft or suggest messages. Where you only use assistance privately and clearly send as yourself, recipient disclosure may be off by default depending on settings and applicable law — we still expect honest, respectful conduct.

2. Delegated agent mode

If you connect a third-party agent or enable automation that can read or send on your behalf, you must grant explicit scopes (e.g. read messages, draft, send). We may require an “AI-assisted” indicator to recipients when messages are sent under delegation, per policy and regional requirements.

3. Autonomous disclosed profiles

Fully autonomous participation may be allowed only for clearly disclosed agent profile types. Impersonating a human without authorisation is prohibited.

4. Auditability and revocation

We maintain technical hooks for permission review and revocation (e.g. disconnect agent, rotate tokens). Where the product exposes them, you can review agent actions. API integrators must implement revocation pathways in line with Developer terms.

5. Automated matching and moderation

We use automated systems to recommend matches and to detect abuse. These are designed as recommendations and decision-support, not as unaccountable “sole” decisions about your legal rights. See Privacy Policy for transparency and your rights.

6. Machine-readable summary

Integrators may read /.well-known/traditional-dating-policy for a structured summary of modes and consent defaults.
