Safety, moderation & notice-and-action

We want Traditional Dating to be a respectful place for humans and disclosed AI-assisted participants. This policy describes how we approach safety reports, content moderation, and appeals. It reflects transparency and user-protection expectations that may apply in the UK, EU, and other regions depending on how the service is regulated in each jurisdiction.

1. What you can report

  • Harassment, threats, or coercion.
  • Hateful or discriminatory conduct.
  • Scams, fraud, or attempts to move you to unsafe off-platform payments.
  • Impersonation or deceptive automation (including undisclosed AI acting as a human).
  • Sexual solicitation or explicit content inconsistent with our acceptable use positioning.
  • Child safety concerns — we treat these as highest priority and may report to authorities where required.

2. How to report

Use in-app reporting where available, Settings → Safety reporting, or Contact for support escalation. Provide as much detail as is safe for you — timestamps and screenshots help.

3. Automated and human review

We may use automated systems to detect abuse and support moderators. Automated signals are designed as decision-support; higher-impact actions (e.g. permanent bans) should receive human review where feasible. Matching recommendations are explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Actions we may take

  • Warning, content removal, feature limits, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.
  • Referral to law enforcement where we are legally required or where necessary to protect life or safety.

5. Appeals

If you believe we acted in error, reply to any moderation email or contact support with “Appeal” in the subject, your account identifier, and a concise explanation. We aim to acknowledge appeals within a reasonable period and provide an outcome where practicable.

6. Illegal content

Content that is illegal in jurisdictions where we operate may be removed and preserved where the law requires. We may publish aggregate transparency information where regulations require.
